Turkish Airlines Magazine Removes PERSIA from Its Map!

SKYLIKE (the magazine of Turkish Airlines) in its August 2013 issue has published a map of old countries  in Asia. You can see Arabia, India and China but surprisingly the name of PERSIA (the first empire of the world) has been removed.
Do they have any problem with the Persian civilization?! I do not know.

  2. In ancient time Turkey was a part of Persian empire. Perhaps now they do not like that fact and prefer to ignore that part of their history!

  3. As far as I know Turks are now interested to promote the Ottoman ideas. And centuries ago Persian Empire and Ottoman Empire were fighting with eachother

  4. Many countries around Iran hate the name PERSIA because they have been a part of that in the past and now they want ti give this impression to the world that they have their own unique identity. Anyway the history can not be re-written.
