Mossadeq Foundation in Geneva

Mossadeq Foundation which is based in Geneva is a great place for those who love Persian history, culture and art; hundreds of books in various languages, historical photos, old Persian songs cassettes and a lot of other materials which have been gathered at Mossadeq Foundation needs a lot of time to just be reviewed.
The foundation is managed by Dr Mohammad Mossadeq's grandson, Abdolmajid Bayat; a nice and old man who loves his country and nation.

Georgia; Persians' favorite destination for a short time

After 1979 Islamic Revolution in Persia (Iran), many people are always trying to find a nice, calm and not expensive place for their vacation; somewhere that they can enjoy their minimum personal freedom; somewhere that they can drink whatever they wish and wear whatever they like; what they are prevented to do in their own land.
Turkey seems the most popular destinations after the revolution. Specially because Iranians do not need to apply for Visa. Recently Georgia was added to the list; a former Soviet Union republic where in various historical era was a part of Persian empire.
But Georgia could not remain a 'favorite place'. Since July 2013 because of Western sanctions against the Iran, Georgia ended the visa-free travel of Persian citizens to this country.
The ordinary people are the only victim of Western sanctions against the Islamic regime in Tehran.

Shirazi Way to Make a Hot Tea cool ! :)

Shiraz is an old and pretty city in Persia.
It's wine, gardens and poets are quite famous.
People of Shiraz are very musical and try to enjoy the life as much as possible. This issue is the subject of a lot of jokes about them :) including this pic!

Hafez, 14th-century Persian poet says:

Shiraz, city of the heart,
God preserve thee!
Pearl of capitals thou art,
Ah! to serve thee

Turkish Airlines Magazine Removes PERSIA from Its Map!

SKYLIKE (the magazine of Turkish Airlines) in its August 2013 issue has published a map of old countries  in Asia. You can see Arabia, India and China but surprisingly the name of PERSIA (the first empire of the world) has been removed.
Do they have any problem with the Persian civilization?! I do not know.
