A rare photo of Persian princess Ashraf Pahlavi, which has been taken during her visit to a children center in Kerman, September 1975.
Mahnaz Afkhami and Abolreza Ansari are seen behind her in the photo as well.
Princess Ashraf is the most controversial member of Pahlavi family. Shortly after 1979 Islamic Revolution, her son Shahryar Shafigh was assassinated in Paris and in 2010 her daughter Azadeh died by cancer.
It is more than three decades that Ashraf has kept an extremely low profile and, with the exception of a memoir published in the mid-1990s, has not made any public appearances or interviews since 1981.
Ashraf lives in Paris.
