Persian Cat Lustreware, 13th century

As a cat lover, wherever I go I capture the cats! This time I have discovered a 13th-century Persian cat at the British Museum. The lustreware has been made in the city of Kashan and it has been offered to the museum as a gift around 1934. 

The cat looks chubby and lazy. Typically Persian! the cat I mean of course :))

Our Persian Cat - Before and After Shaving !

Kali is our Persian cat. She is 7 now. We adopted her when we used to live in Romania.

Few days ago Kali was shaved and now looks totally different, like a little lion!
But she is happy because it's summer and she does not like the hot weather!
This photo has been taken just few days after shaving.

A frightened cat in Tehran

A handsome cat in Tehran who is afraid of strange visitors. No idea that he is 'Persian' or not, anyway he is so lovely and cute!
His name is Freddie and he lives in Yousef-Abad district of Teheran.
